LBMG Company Director Dan Collins announced today
that he is to depart the Brisbane Lions at the
end of this season. The Lions High Performance
Manager has also held key roles with the Sydney
City Roosters and the International Rugby Board,
says he leaves with no regrets.
We
have implemented some terrific innovations at
the Lions in relation to long-term player development,
the daily training environment, staff and player
performance management, information and knowledge
management and performance analysis and the use
of modern performance tools.
"It
is time that I concentrate for a while on my business
interests with the Leisure Brothers Management
Group on the Gold Coast", says Collins.
The
club is also going through an intense period of
change and restructure and it is timely that coinciding
with my own business needs, that I have been able
to co-ordinate my departure.
Collins,
who has worked tirelessly with Michael Voss, says
that "he hopes at some stage, he will be
able to return in some capacity further down the
track, but for the moment, needs to focus on the
needs of his property development company". |
